Sgroi founded Sgroi Land Surveying with a clear vision: to provide high‑quality professional service grounded in trust, accuracy, and long‑standing client relationships.
For more than two decades, David led many of the Triad’s most significant surveying projects, earning a reputation as one of the region’s most respected Professional Land Surveyors. His commitment to excellence shaped the firm’s identity and set the standard for the work we continue today.
Following David’s passing in 2021, his son, Samuel S. Sgroi, PLS, stepped forward to carry the legacy into a new generation. With over 15 years of experience, Sam brings both deep technical expertise and a personal commitment to upholding the values his father established. As President and Lead Surveyor, he oversees all field operations and project management across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
Sam is licensed in the State of North Carolina and is an active member of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Surveyors. His leadership reflects the same dedication to accuracy, professionalism, and client trust that has defined the Sgroi name for more than 25 years.
Today, Sgroi Geomatics continues to honor its roots while embracing the future—combining proven experience with modern technology to deliver reliable, precise surveying services across the region.
